According to One News Now, AFA executive vice president Buddy Smith was rebuffed by chairman Frank Blake and other company executives when he presented them with their demands during the company’s annual shareholders meeting in Atlanta.
“We presented to the shareholders and to the chairman and the board of directors over 470,000 signature petitions asking them to remain neutral in the culture war, specifically when it addresses gay marriage and homosexual activist groups,” Smith told the website.
Blake reportedly thanked Smith but reiterated the company’s support for gay rights.
So, of course, The Home Depot will continue to be boycotted by The Hate Group, which has obviously been so, so painful for The Home Depot so far.

Its funny what a little truth brings out. You cannot assume that all homosexuals are the same. Many that I have personally known can trace the origins of their behavior to an incident in their youth. Typically a broken relationship with a father figure or sexual deviance perpetrated by a trusted adult in their life. No all homosexuals are not the same. Some desire freedom from homosexuality and freedom they will get. What is this freedom? It is not liberation for the purpose of oppression or frustration but liberation to commune with the Father to not fear death and not have to bury many a lover to the plight of AIDS. That he’s married and has children proves nothing. Many a gay man has attempted to supress his gayness and entered into a marriage by deceiving a woman and subsequently having children. Most at a late point in life recognize they can no longer live a lie and leave their devastated wife and a broken family while they go on to accept their lives as gay men.
You are hurting people by encouraging self-loathing gay men to deceive unsuspecting women who they will eventually devastate and leave behind a broken family. Stop what you’re doing, its evil.

A distant father does not turn people gay, if it did there would be no gay men with single fathers. Sexual molestation does not turn people gay, if it did every victim would be. The only thing we need to be free from is your bigotry and insistance that we be ashamed of what we are. The only reason you continue to paint us as needing to change is because it is a convenient excuse to continue your efforts to designate us as legal inferiors for the sake of your entitlement complex. Please spare us the made up stories about how you know “homosexuals”. There have been many studies examining sexual molestation and there has never been a linkage to gayness established. While some gays report distant fathers, so do a large number of heterosexuals. Rather than the distant father causing gayness, it is the father that recognizes the gayness in his son and rejects his son and becomes distant. You’ve gotten cause and effect backwards.
