I just watched this video & i completely agree with Damon. Homeosexuality is wrong and no, i don’t believe that people are “born gay”. you don’t just come out of the womb, gay. it is a choice & you have to make the decision. Wow…the only response to all of this is assanine, not Damon Thompson, but you people who form against him. I can see how his aggressiveness can seem harsh, but to call yourself a Christian and say that homosexuality is ok should convict you enough to say something yourself. Of course the gays will get upset and lash out, friend that’s also called conviction, it’s easier to be mad at someone else than to look at your life and how it doesn’t fall in line with the word! At my church there are gays who attend, Damon has preached at our church and has even said that alot of churches don’t want homosexuals at their church, but that he does because if our goal is to have total salvation then where are they suppose to go, but just because we want homosexuals at our church doesn’t mean we condone it, the word is still taught that homosexuality is not right or normal by the word! As far as the tattoos, you would be ridiculous to say that people who have tattoos are not in right standing with God, first off was it not Jesus Christ who had “markings” on his thigh, don’t just read part of the bible guy!!! Just like if a gay man or woman wanted to repent and accept Christ as their savior after realizing that homosexuality is not of God, they would be forgiven and washed clean, just like a person with tattoos, or someone with a drug past, God is Almighty, he cleanses you, gives you the conviction to repent from being gay or for your past no matter what it was, actually most of your comments are equally in sin according to the bible with all your judgements on a man of God, it is elementary that a sin is a sin no matter big or small. I do feel sorry for those who are angry at a man who tells it how it is and should be, it’s unfortunate that most pastors and preachers are too scared to offend or lose their already mislead congregation! If you accept that there is a god who’s all powerful and all knowing then it necessarily follows from that that god knew there would be gayness when he created the world and created adam and eve. I would suggest one of the centuries old, established denominations like the Evangelical Lutherans, The Presbyterians, the Episcopal Church, or the United Church of Christ. They are, among Protestants, the ones that have existed longest, and have the best scholarship and knowledge of the Bible, and they ALL ordain gay people, and correct the mistake you are still under that being gay is in of itself a sin.
