On the Alan Colmes radio show, I went up against Rich Wyler, the worm who runs the organization People Can Change. Here is the video from the encounter.
Alan Colmes Radio: Wayne Besen vs. Rich Wyler of People Can Change
14About the Author
Wayne Besen is the Founding Executive Director of Truth Wins Out and author of “Anything But Straight: Unmasking the Scandals and Lies Behind the Ex-Gay Myth” (Haworth, 2003). In 2010, Besen was awarded the “Visionary Award” at the Out Music Awards for organizing the American Prayer Hour, an event which shined a spotlight on the role American evangelicals played in the introduction of Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Bill.

Give him the smack down that he deserves, Wayne!
Good luck! Not that you will need it to expose this charlatan for who he really is…
If he’s like the rest of the Changlings, he’ll probably try to play footsie with you under the table.
People can change. Let them.
Tony–YOU’RE THE EVIL BECKY! She kept typing that bumper sticker and it was just as full of it then as it is when you say it.
Tony can change to homosexual; let him.
Tony can’t change his sheets–let his mother.
Is there a recording? Link please?
Tony do you think that if you repeat your bumber sticker enough times it will magically become true? Who’s paying you to troll here because there is no way you’re actually stupid enough to think your lies are convincing us of anything other than your need to come out of the closet and stop hating yourself.
From Queer as Folk:
‘Ex-gay’ guy–”you can change, you can change, you can change.”
Emmett–”I’d start with those shoes”
Tony/kelly/dmitri/evil becky/omar/tom do you think its ethical for you to force your way into someone’s home when you’ve been told to leave and not come back?
Wayne, how about calling Tony/kelly/dmitri/evil becky/omar/tom’s ISP and reporting his harrassment?
Tony: If people want to believe that they can change their sexual orientation, then let them try. No-one’s standing in their way. But let no-one try to bully, manipulate or deceive them into bluing their hard-earned cash or squandering precious years of their lives on such a wild-goose chase.
Some time back, Wayne wrote on here in reply to a would-be ex-gay who was lamenting that his sexual orientation still hadn’t changed: “Life is short. Every day you waste on the ex-gay myth you will never get back. Every dollar you throw down the ex-gay drain you will never recover.”
That wise and charitable warning deserves to be carved in letters of gold above the portal of the premises of every “ex-gay” ministry and every “reparative” therapist.
Tony, there’s this thing called “informed consent” where patients should be notified that treatments most likely won’t work.
Also, these treatments won’t work. People should be informed when practitioners are selling snakeoil.
