It’s the job of every good Christian Fundamentalist parent to teach their children how to stick their fingers in their ears, their heads in the sand, and deny reality at every turn. If kids go to school and are confronted with the real world, what will happen?!

I love how they’re still whining about the same two children’s books.
Who would have thunk that these little books would be so powerful and subversive.
These characters want our tax dollars going to perpetuate their agenda, which involves marginalizing and erasing our existence from the schools. Why are they so obsessed with GLBT people?
I know I’m not of the US but I pay tax in the UK and I would be really pleased to know some of it went towards seeing every student was treated decently and fairly.
I was going to say I hope one these ‘concerning parents’ have kids who turn out to be LGBT, but now I think about it, no. No kid should have to be born into a family like these pedal as real and normal.
I meant, of course, ‘concerned parents’.

I was born into a family like that and I survived ok. I just came out after leaving my family. I also am so much more aware of the christian influences/dangers than other kids who didn’t grow up in that.
It all works out for the best in many cases.
