This is an Irish campaign, but funny, it’s the same damn issue here. Or, we could add, for American purposes, “as long as DOMA is still in place, we’re second class citizens.”

This is EXACTLY why we need to push for marriage equality. Marriage equality/rights for same-sex couples changes NOTHING for male/female het couples. But not allowing for it causes untold damage and hurt that spans generations. Support marriage equality wherever you live on this earth.
