Jeremy caught this tweet from hate group leader Tony Perkins:
It’s funny when they accidentally forget their messaging and just come right out with their weird, shame-induced belief that all sex is dirty.
But when you’re a fundamentalist leader, you’re much more worried about keeping your ideology pure and wishing upon a star that all people’s naughty bits might somehow be under lock and key for all time*, than you are about keeping your kids STD and teen pregnancy free. Look at the teen pregnancy rates in the more fundamentalist states to see how well that works.
*except for those terrible times when a Fundamentalist husband and wife must engage in terrible, disgusting, shameful sex in order to have a baby.

The abject, willful ignorance of the religious zealotry in America is truly astounding. We all know that 50% of Americans have an IQ below 100. I am guessing that anyone in that group also belong to some fundamentalist freak show as well.
Yeah, my Christian school had a “sex ed” program that tried to scare us all with the STD thing. It usually doesn’t work but, as it turns out, I have a phobia of diseases. So sex is still a scary thing for me. Thanks, fundamentalists.
To be fair, the proper term for such practices are “Safer Sex.” Strictly speaking, Perkins is right.
Dude.
Getting mired down in semantics causes one to miss the point, often.

No he’s not. Sex in a monagamous relationship is risk free. Tony’s trying to dishonestly claim sex ed classes are strictly about promiscuity.
There is no “safe” driving, and driver’s ed programs which assume and there encourage driving are part of the problem.
