Wayne Besen is the Founding Executive Director of Truth Wins Out and author of “Anything But Straight: Unmasking the Scandals and Lies Behind the Ex-Gay Myth” (Haworth, 2003). In 2010, Besen was awarded the “Visionary Award” at the Out Music Awards for organizing the American Prayer Hour, an event which shined a spotlight on the role American evangelicals played in the introduction of Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Bill.
Is Richard Cohen for real? I mean he’s not like some huge performance artist exploring irony? That just looks so funny!
Notice that everything is “struggles” with same-sex attraction, “struggles” with homosexuality. What a sad world they live in.
BTW: you cute. :)
Is it just me, or do all these “converts” sound like stereotypical men’s men wannabes? It’s absurd!
Rchard Cohen isn’t a performance artist. He’s that crazy for real. He wrote a children’s book on homosexuality that depicted a boy turning gay after his uncle molested him-it’s the creepiest children’s book ever written. (I can’t recall the title. I wish I could. I found the entire thing online once, years ago.)
The rubber-band-on-the-wrist thing still cracks me up. Maybe it’d work better if you put the rubber band somewhere else and snapped it…
