I’m not a big fan of Ron Paul — but it is difficult to disagree with his ad. Someone had to point out Newt Gingrich’s sleazy, hypocritical tenure in politics and it seems the duty was left to Paul. Let’s also not forget the “family values” conservative’s two divorces.

Wayne Besen is the Founding Executive Director of Truth Wins Out and author of “Anything But Straight: Unmasking the Scandals and Lies Behind the Ex-Gay Myth” (Haworth, 2003). I do find many of Ron Paul’s ideas disagreeable, however at the moment he does seem to be the best of a bad bunch. Much more of a fiscal conservative than a social conservative.
Then again, there was the answer he gave to the question about medical insurance at the GOP debate….
Newt Gingrich is a total sleaze/ gas-bag and despicable in every way. I think he would be easier for the democratic candidate to beat than Romney however, though they both are the consummate flip-floppers. Any time the repugnicans bicker though, I’m glad.
Wow. I don’t like a lot of Ron Paul’s positions, but I gotta say that this is a damned good ad.
