geez Ralph Reed is an oily little lizard…
How well I remember the video aired by Jerry Falwell on Easter Sunday accusing Bill Clinton of murdering people. He was a charlatan and a bigoted man who hated LGBT people and feminists and accused us of being responsible by our lives for 9/11.
Haaaaaaaa! If you gave Falwell an enema he could be burried in a matchbox!
Say what you will about Hitch, he never backed down from a fight.
I didn’t say anything about Hitchens elsewhere out of respect. But he opened the door here.
Hitchens was a corporate tool hired to divide and confuse the left. He stumped for Nader nonstop and helped put Bush in office, a horrendous attrocity. Then he was one of those hired to divide liberal christians from liberal atheists, another crime.
He was a veritable flood of rhetorical games. I remember well his crackpot ramblings every week in The Nation. His favorite tricks were swapping subjects for objects and drawing false conclusions from vague and random data. Zillions on the far left were fooled by these tactics.
Hitchens in top form. They invite him on the program and ask him to speak his mind, and then when he gives his honest opinion they act indignant, as though he had no right to do precisely what they invited him to do.
Of course, now I would like to see Ralph Reed live up to his own words and “show some measure of respect and appreciation” towards Hitchens and his family.
