Remember Eddie Long? You know, Bishop Biceps, the homophobic, muscle shirt-wearing megachurch pastor who settled out of court with four teenage boys who accused him of coercing them into sexual relationships?
Well guess what? He’s now a king. Just ask him.
According to a CNN article, Long held a “crowning ceremony” at a recent Sunday service at his New Birth Missionary Church outside of Atlanta. In it, a man purporting to be a rabbi (but whose ordination is dubious, according to Rabbi Hillel Norry, an established Georgia rabbi) wrapped Long in a Torah scroll that he claimed had been recovered from the Auschwitz concentration camp.
After that astonishing display of disrespect, four congregants lifted the seated Long and paraded him in front of the assembled worshippers as the questionable rabbi, Ralph Messer, proclaimed Long to be a king.
Norry pointed out to CNN that the alleged “Holocaust Torah” most probably did not pass through Auschwitz because its large size meant it would have likely been detected in the concentration camp. Still, the mere fact that Bishop Biceps felt comfortable participating in such a profane ceremony at all, much less one that mistreated a scroll with that kind of story attached to it (regardless of its authenticity), is incredibly disturbing.
Looks like the gays aren’t the only group that Eddie Long has no problem flagrantly disrespecting.

All the muscles and trash talk just cover an extremly feminine/queeny persona. Such a persona is fine, if one embraces it as who they ARE, and does not overcompensate with vicious homophobia and weightlifting to compensate out of guilt.
People are waking up to him though. Membership in his six flags over Jesus sized church has fallen a LOT.
This stunt, in a region where so many are vehemently pro Israel/ very respectful of Jews and the Bible, will NOT go over well. I really wonder what he was thinking. No one would ever dream of wearing a New Testament as a garment in that part of society, and there is an old hymm “no king but Jesus” which I doubt they will be singing as his “church”!

While the buffoons do their thing, what is seemed never to be noticed is that all the victims of the perps like Long and other sundry preachers and clergy, is that not a one of these men abused ever turn out gay, but are always heterosexuals with deep turmoil over their abuse. I dare say that not one abused or molested boy is ever gay – and thus the canard that we molest and abuse boys into gayness is amply refuted by the thousands of victims of this sort of abuse. And it would well serve the gay population if we could/would point this out with much more publicity.

How do you know he isn’t a king? He did nothing wrong. And Chistian’s have been disrespecting gays since day one as part of their teachings.
