Wait, I’m confused. Did Anne Heche and Sinead O’Connor go through brutal, discredited “ex-gay” ministries, the patients of which often end up driven to deeper levels of depression and sometimes suicide, in order to pray themselves straight. Or did their lives just change? I don’t know about Anne, but I highly doubt Sinead O’Connor would appreciate her name being used in that way by such an ignorant, hateful bigot.
Anyway, the rest of it is just the usual whining. “Tolerate our unhinged hatred!” Whatever.

Well, I cannot speak to the Lesbian experience; women are different, and frankly I don’t know much about them, after all. But one thing is clear, and that’s that there’s several million gay men who have no intention of changing — and denounce all attempts at changing us — for we’re just happy as we are. And “to date” there have been almost 15 or 16 really “clear” studies on the naturalness of gayness – all of which show that there is something there. But because not one of the studies has been broaden or replicated one can hardly derive anything more than “well, there’s something different.” The 15 studies never involved more than 90 or 100 gay guys. I will not list all those few studies here, but they are readily available with a quick internet search. And the minute such study shows something different they are shut down and shunted away in the “not-peer reviewed” category. Twin studies ignore the factor of birth weight; they claim twins are “identical” and yet, each twin is a different weight – hmm, what if … —
Meanwhile, just last year some 47,000 men of European heritage were tested to see if they carried a caffeine gene. The conclusion was “yes, they do.” And I’d dare say, if we can test 47,000 men for coffee-craving and show it’s genetic than we can test 47,000 gay men and show gayness is genetic. That gayness is non-genetic and coffee drinking is is just beyond my grasp of reasonable probability.
When will Wayne Besen apologize to Greg Quinlan? The homosexual Wayne Besen accused the Christian Greg Quinlan of defaming him and threatened to sue. But Besen could not do it! A Power greater than Wayne Besen or TWO stayed his hand and protected Quinlan. The whole world now sees that TWO and Besen are paper tigers!

Could someone please ask one of the know-it-all types: If homosexuality is not immutable, is heterosexuality immutable or is it changeable? If there are no “born-in ” factors to homosexuality, are there “born-in” factors to heterosexuality? What causes heterosexuality or, for that matter, sexuality? Find the answers to the reason for heterosexuality and you find the answers to homosexuality. Problem is, the nonsensical statement that there is “zero” evidence for the innateness of homosexuality, is just a load of the usual Christian b******t needed to rake in your money, you holy fools. If any form of sexuality has any innate qualities, then you are just trying (as usual) to keep the monster alive to raid the wallets of the stupid. The real choice comes in the form of what you CHOOSE to believe. Just don’t deal in any facts or evidence; it might disprove and destroy your fucked up nonsense about sexuality.

You know, when I remember the Christians I once knew, I think of;
One old gentleman whose wife of forty-one years was mugged and never got over it and died. There was only the two of them, never had children, he had literally lost the only love of his life.
When the mugger came to court, that old gentleman went to speak up ON HIS BEHALF and visited him in jail because he knew the lad needed Jesus.
Even the lad’s only family didn’t want anything to do with him, but the old man was there for him.
That lad, middle aged now, is now involved in prison ministry.
The old lady who got a neighbour who was a druggie and used to play music, have wild parties, and knock on her door at all hours.
Everyone at church suggested she move, her daughter offered her her spare room, even the minister suggested she leave. No, said the old lady, he needs Jesus.
It took a while, but her gentle, loving persistence won out.
The lad is now a grown man, clean, married, and has a street ministry ministering to drug abusers.
The old lady who spoke to those who everyone shunned, including an ex prisoners and all round bad boy, a gay man, when it was illegal to be gay, and a mentally ill woman, who everyone shunned because she was different. The woman is now very old, still confused, but knows Jesus loves her, which has got her through.
This old lady made a great impression on all who met her. She has been dead for thirty-six years and there are people, including the three I mentioned, who come up to her granddaughter in the street and say ‘your grandmother was a lady’.
How do I know?
Because that old lady was my own great grandmother, and I’ve been with my Mum when people congratulated her on being this lady’s granddaughter.
I can tell you a dozen more stories like those, about how Christians got their hands dirty, went the extra mile, turned the other cheeks, really put themselves out, for Jesus, and the results they got.
I think of them and then I think of ‘Christians’ like Charles B, whose total contribution to working for the lord is writing passive-aggressive homophobic message threatening god’s punishment on anyone who disagrees with their friends in the comments section of web sites.

If Quinlan is a fraud then where is the historic defamation lawsuit? There is no lawsuit because you cannot sue a man for defamation when he speaks the truth! Truth is a defense to defamation! And what can be more true than the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
Besen wanted to sue but his hand was stayed by a greater power. The Lord prevented unwarranted attack on His servant and the Lord will see to it that Besen apologizes on this website in view of the entire world.

Actually, no. Freedom of religion is codified in the US Constitution. Marrying the person you love, no matter their gender, is not (although it should be, and hopefully one day will be). :-)

If Quinlan is under the anointing power of the Holy Spirit, is Quinlan therefore incapable of sinning? (Does divorce count a sin?) I was told in Southern Baptist Sunday school over 40 years ago that a person was INCAPABLE of sinning once she or he had been saved.
Does this anointing power make one invincible? That is what Charles is implying… If he is invincible he can’t be harmed in any way, like being injured in a car accident, for example.

I think both Hech and O’Connor always identified as bisexual–not gay. The problem is more that they make bisexuals seem crazy–Heche is, of course, diagnosed with mental illness and I have a feeling that O’Connor would be too if she went for treatment.

I have to say, I’m a lesbian. I do not judge christians nor do i call them bigots. What makes me mad and upset is when I have people telling me HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE. I keep my personal life behind my walls, I don’t flaunt it in front of ppl. I give christians respect talk to them in a manner way. I have nothing against christians they just have issues with me. I don’t like to be judged by anyone other than god most christian NOT all are hypocrites god says love your neighbors not many does anymore without judging their neighbors. I do have to say though I love the church I attend they really are true christians none judges me for my sexual orientation.
