We just attended my stepdad’s funeral, my lover & myself, holding hands in the front pew w/my mom. Stepdad’s lesbian daughter with her lover, gave the eulogy. I guess it’s just which church one is with, which priest, etc. This one sounds like the priest has issues, needs medication, or is afraid he’ll be outted as a pedophile. What ever, I’m sure most catholics abhore this “holier than thou” approach, as they should. I hope this priest hears it from parishoners & is run outta town. Shame on him.

No, WMD, the Johnsons attended Catholic schools and Barbara taught art at Elizabeth Seton High School. There’s no indication that they blindly swallow any or all Catholic doctrine. And just because someone is religious, doesn’t make them brainwashed.
