I met Archbishop Timothy Dolan once or twice. He was a very kind and charismatic man. I have a lot of trouble reconciling this level of hatred with the caring man I’ve met. The thing about homophobia is that it is very good at disguising itself as logical and caring, and many homophobes think they are being logical and/or caring, when clearly, this is just plain awful.

The roman catholic church’s leadership is made up of a whole bunch of self-loathing closeted homosexuals who will do anything within their power to protect their privilege and power. As I have said many times before, if every self-respecting woman and LGBT person would vote with their feet, give not one thin dime and let their fellow parishioners know why, this misogyny would soon cease. Until that happens, no change will occur.

The Roman Catholic Church’s leadership is not but a bunch of hate-mongering homophobes who don’t have any business teaching the word of Christ. Christ was about love and not hate.

I hope every gay who works for the RCC quits their job and then we can all sit back and watch the RCC’s music program turn to crap!!

I wonder if he would have been fired if the ‘official’ had overheard him helping to cover up another sex scandal involving minors? He would probably have been promoted. I hope the publicity of this story gets him lots of new job offers in schools that have REAL morals and integrity.
