The Catholic Church had better denounce this, or else it’ll prove they’re obsessed with their precious doctrine enough to forget about the poor. Servicing the poor is all that they’ve had in the modern age as they lose all other social relevance thanks to their unwillingness to progress. Then again they expanded to allow anti-gay and anti-woman Anglicans, so I guess this is the next logical step. After all, poor people in 2012 are all ‘lazy bums’, right?

Wonderful. This is exactly what I have come to expect from that church. Screw everyone over because it doesn’t like the stance of someone. The Catholic Church needs to be defunded via removal of its tax exemption. Past time that we stopped the gravy train.

The Catholic Criminal Cartel can’t pull out of public life fast enough. I hope they defund everything outside of their own endeavors and make themselves utterly irrelevant in addition to already being utterly repugnant to the world at large. Their evil influence isn’t welcome and their time has passed. I honestly couldn’t be more thrilled that they are voluntarily withdrawing their monetary influence over decent people.

This is another sad attempt by the Catholic Church to bully, intimidate, silence, censor and block pro-equality Americans from the public square. Moreover, any American who believes homophobia is a sin is subject to intimidation and even job loss. Christ commanded us to help the poor and needy. It’s a grave sin to hoist your homophobia above Christ’s commandments like the Church is doing now all over our nation. God is watching.
