I don’t think this is normal behavior for people who are trying to save children:
A co-founder for Invisible Children was detained in Pacific Beach on Thursday for being drunk in public and masturbating, according to San Diego Police Department.
Jason Russell, 33, was allegedly found masturbating in public, vandalizing cars and possibly under the influence of something, according to Lt. Andra Brown. He was detained at the intersection of Ingraham Street and Riviera Road.
Brown said Russell was acting very strange.
Masturbation AND vandalism. Multi-tasking, right there.
Russell is one of the the founders responsible for the “Kony 2012″ video that recently went viral. He is described on the organization’s website as a co-founder and “our grand storyteller and dreamer.” Russell is also described as a Christian and father to two children who wants to have nine more children with his wife he calls his “best friend for over 23 years.”
The video “Kony 2012″ calls for the capture of the Ugandan LRA leader whose fighting tactic involves kidnapping and torturing the country’s innocent children.
I mean, no one actually supports Joseph Kony’s LRA, but this is all just getting bizarre.
Tbogg points out that this all happened about two blocks from his house and adds:
I can’t speak for the Kony 2012 people but, on behalf of myself and my neighbors, we find this kind of behavior completely unacceptable on a school night and prefer to keep it limited to weekends and major holidays.

if it is completely unacceptable, it should be completely unacceptable all 7 nights of the week, not just school nights. due to his record of treatment towards children, this arrest is double indemnity against him. why would he even think of wanting even one more child if he persists in this type of behavior on any night at all? the man is sick and needs to be put away somewhere. that’s my opinion. i’m already praying that God helps him see what he did wrong.

Larry, it is indeed unacceptable on any night, at any time.
The real question is, what kind of Christian is he? Is he a Christian man with a problem doing the best he can do (which is unfortunately not very good)? Or is he a holier-than-thou, love the sinner but type who has been hoisted upon his own moralizing petard.
Unfortunately, i have no time to google him and find out.
I expected as much from one who would associate with known hate groups. Unfortunate that he had to let his inner turmoil win out.

I’d imagine his breakdown was triggered by becoming so famous that people started researching him for the first time ever, and it took no time at all to reveal who and what he really is. He had to have known this sudden unforeseen and phenomenal success would actually mark the end of his entire empire of hate and lies.
Well, if it didn’t, this little stunt today sure did.
Those donations to his foundation should of gone as a prize to whoever serves up Kony to whichever authorities. See how many soldiers of fortune and bounty hunters would of flocked after him….
