Happy Dance time!
I feel like I’m breathing normally for the first time this afternoon.
NOW let’s see what Bates and Brown have to say!
I hope Brian is not vegetarian, because I think crow is on the menu tonight.
*whew* Definitely good news!
Great news but I am still irked that majorities are permitted to vote on the rights of minorities, regardless of which way the vote goes or who the minority is. Is this not the issue that should be addressed nationwide? If such votes continue to be permissible, marriage rights can eventually be removed by a similar referendum or vote in the future. Shouldn’t the issue be that such a right can NEVER be put to the vote or removed no matter what the majority might believe?
