You remember Zach Wahls, the straight Iowa son of lesbian parents, who delivered one of the most impassioned speeches for LGBT equality I’ve ever seen a while back, to the Iowa House of Representatives. He’s still just as awesome as he was that day, though his pedestal is quite a bit higher. Unicorn Booty pulls one of the best quotes from his speech at the GLAAD Media Awards:
‘People sometimes want to know, “Which one is the man?”. Which is kind of like walking into a Chinese restaurant and asking, “Which chopstick is the fork?”
It’s a whole different set of utensils, guys! They’re both women. It’s what lesbian means.’
Awesome.
This young man is definitely going places. An eloquent speaker and a credit to his Moms, they are no doubt incredibly proud, as well they should be.
