In this clip, Julian Bond touches on the contempt the National Organization for Marriage has shown for all people, but especially African-Americans, calling it “scary” that they think they can just move minority voters around like pawns on a chess board. He’s right.

I saw this video on the news this morning.
It’s “hart-warming” that NOM, either inadvertently or deliberately (I don’t know which) let their demonic scheme get publicized and brilliant people like Julian Bond take this strong stand on the issue.
You folks at TWO—Wayne, Even, John—as you’ve said several times, the fanatic nincompoops are getting more desperate as the kind of equality our Constitution guarantees gains ground, so their tactics get more bizarre. It would be funny if it weren’t so scary.
Also—Bravo to Anderson Cooper for exposing these things, not to mention the uncertified “Christian” school in Montana, which hides behind our Constitutional guarantee of freedom of religion.

Sorry–heart warming!
I hope that anyone who believes that organizations like NOM only deal from love and truth and facts really take a lesson from this. These organization are like any other political organization – it’s anything goes to score the winning points. NOTHING is off the table.
Those of us who are both LGBT and Black (or any other racial minority) are loosing family members and friends EVERY DAY because of nonsense like NOM us trying to do. THEY are the ones diving families!
