I know that our Truth Wins Out readers run the gamut of religious faith and lack thereof, but I think all will appreciate this smackdown of a wingnut pastor, brought to you by an atheist veteran. This guy really knows his stuff, and it’s worth watching all fifteen minutes.

Fictional god knows that I hate all religions equally — yes, even the “nice” ones — but I certainly don’t hate all religious people. But I sure do hate some of them! This guy, however, is a man and a half as well as my new hero.
That was wonderful. Rarely does anyone of any belief confront these cheer-leading Christians so directly. Speeches like the reverend is giving are nothing more than religion-wrapped political cheer leading. It appeals to the crowd like food to a hungry man. Plus, it’s a great way to make a really good living without having to work.
I truly believe that if you put these people to a test of loyalty to our Constitution, they would have to fail because you can’t support the Constitution is its entirety and still believe that, as a Christian, you must believe what men like this pastor tell you. Yet, they claim they are the true and loyal Americans. Not by a long shot. They shred the Constitution each and every time they listen and applaud these spinmaster, religion-cloaked liars.
He does say (at 6:59) that Susan B Anthony “helped shape the Constitution”. She was born in 1820 per Wikipedia. Otherwise, I think this guy is a very effective counterbalance to the craziness of this Dennis Terry christianist. Good job!

I think he means that her work for suffrage laid the ground work that led to Constitution being amended and allowing women to vote.
