Has anyone tried to “cure” you of being gay? Are you an “Ex-Gay” Survivor? If so, we would like to hear your story. Join us and help expose the lies behind “conversion” therapy and help other LGBT people who have undergone or are considering “therapy” to “cure” themselves.
The idea that one’s sexual orientation can be changed through therapy is a dangerous lie, and has been discredited by medical and counseling organizations. Please join experts including from the Southern Poverty Law Center, Truth Wins Out, as well as local survivors to learn about this fraudulent practice, share stories about “conversion therapy,” and understand how we can protect LGBT rights.

Two things- First off THANK YOU Sam Wolfe!! I have noticed in the last year or maybe 18 months that the Southern Poverty Law Center is very visible protecting Civil Rights for Sexual Minorities.Thank you for your support SPLC :) :) :)
Second- How the heck did you get room in a BAPTIST church? Not only BAPTIST but in Utah. Huh? How did you pull that one off. Did you lie about what the meeting is about?
@StraightGrandmother:
Speaking for my fiancee, who up until a couple of years ago, lived in the state with her parents, Salt Lake City has one of those “More Liberal Than You Think” vibes going on, and have made some pretty good strides for LGBTs (short of marriage).
Hope that helps. Love reading your comments, btw, I’m a fan, SG, even if I often stay in the background and comment rarely.
