If you don’t remember, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League (of one) is mad at Jon Stewart for casually using the phrase “vagina manger,” which is apparently a sacred symbol of all the major religions.

So he’s boycotting over Jon’s silly joke about the vagina manger. Wow..I’m just overcome with sad pity for this chump. Cenk pwned him royally. But I’m a little disappointed that neocons haven’t done more to explode in outrage over the Comedians’ War on Conservatives. Considering that comedians are always taking shots at them, it’s far closer to being a real war than all the wars the neocons have made up. ;-]
I’ll be watching Jon Stewart all the more. These religious blowhards are wound so tight.
The romanist christianists represented by Donohue, Rick Santorum, Sam Brownback, Scalia, Clarence Thomas, Alito, The Koch Brothers, Opus Dei, The Blue Army, Maggie Gallagher and the NOM crowd and the countless reactionary bishopric stooges of their holeynesses Ratzinger and Wojtyla, are probably the most well funded and nefarious of the religious forces standing in the way of womens’ and LGBT civil rights in America and the nonmuslim world today. Don’t underestimate them. How any woman or LGBT person can remain associated with the romanist church is beyond any fathoming of the rational mind.
Bill Donohue is sick…. and the greatest form of anti-catholicism in American Media is to say that he represents anything the Catholic Church represents.
Unfortunately, the harm he has done to the catholic church and its image is ir-repairable. Something is very, very wrong with him.
