Wayne Besen is the Founding Executive Director of Truth Wins Out and author of “Anything But Straight: Unmasking the Scandals and Lies Behind the Ex-Gay Myth” (Haworth, 2003). In 2010, Besen was awarded the “Visionary Award” at the Out Music Awards for organizing the American Prayer Hour, an event which shined a spotlight on the role American evangelicals played in the introduction of Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Bill.










It’s really a shame, too. Early on, they were not at all political, and had a very positive message. No condemnation, and no anti-gay anything. I guess that changed, huh?
That looks as exciting as the Harvest USA seminar on sexual brokenness that will be in St. Louis this week..at the same First Evangelical Free Church that hosted Love Won Out a few years back.

I’m frightened. What on earth is a “global harvest”? It sounds like they have some particularly evil plan for earth…

Actually, there were over 100 people there on a weekday at 1am. That is pretty impressive.
Ahab! That was my FAVORITE Twilight Zone episode of my childhood. I credit it (jokingly) with my giving up meat in the late 70′s.
