Folks, the fallout from the University of Texas right wing funded sham study by Mark Regnerus, that slams gay parents, is not over. The more people learn about this disgraceful propaganda posing as science, the stronger the stench of possible academic fraud and outright shilling on behalf of Princeton ideologue Robert George, who seems to be the puppeteer behind the “research.” Over at The New Civil Rights Movement, Scott Rose makes a strong case against this monstrosity of a study:
To sum up the case:
1) Regnerus admits that the way he carried out his NOM-Robert George-funded study was not in the best long-term interest of science;
2) Regnerus converted from evangelical Protestantism to Catholicism; his Church is actively involved worldwide in fighting against gay rights;
3) Regnerus admits in his published study that he can not claim any causation between having a gay parent and a bad child outcome, but, nonetheless;
4) he appears on ABC television, strongly suggesting that his study did show that homosexual parents are dangerous to children, and his activity in promoting the study that way is
5) totally in line with the way NOM and George’s other anti-gay groups are promoting Regnerus’s study. Additionally, though serving science well with this study would have required that Regnerus spend more time to complete it, he completed it in time for his funder Robert George to use it as an anti-gay-rights political weapon in the 2012 elections. And finally, the University of Texas, Austin, has an academic dishonesty policy that forbids using misinformation in an attempt to hurt others.
Please sign Truth Wins Out’s petition calling on the University of Texas to investigate and look deeper into this burgeoning scandal.

Regnerus, Gallagher, George and the rest of them like Perkins, Barber, Sprigg, etc etc, are not “Anti-gay” — they are for NO GAYS! — Much like that Salvation Army guy in Australia — they are simply for the death of gay folks — or our elimination from society by any means — forced indoctrination, incarceration, constant gov’t disdain and disruption of our lives, and the elimination of any good word about us.
They have thrown down the gauntlet and made it clear: Either we change and bow down to their demands or we will suffer — that is their consistent message. Ergo, I much would prefer if we start calling them by their true goal: The NO GAYS! Movement. For they want nothing less. Up to an including Genocide, it seems clear now.
Let me go on the record that the minute that these hate groups start their “elimination of gays” I will respond with the intent to defend and to preserve my life, and that of my partner. So to all you “NO GAY” people out there who are reading this and with the intent to kill us. Good luck. So in the words of Clint Eastwood…”go head punk….you feeling lucky?” This is one queer who can put a tight grouping into a target….try me. I consider your rhetoric with intent to kill me fair waring. Consider this to be mine to defend myself.
Kevin, don’t be so melodramatic. It won’t come to that. We r talking a campaign of misinformation which they been pushing for decades.
mcewan, don’t be so quick to judge Kevin. You do no know what circumstances he lives under. Just think about that for a moment. Where you are and where you live this might seem extreme but we do not know Kevin’s circumstance.
@mcewen
I strongly urge you not to rest in assumptions like that. I came out of evangelical Christianity many, many years ago — even then there were some groups (particularly some members of the the Orthodox Presbyterian — Rushdoony) talking about killing gays. Doctor Mel White, in his book “Religion Gone Bad” pointed to an on air debate he had with a pastor in Seattle WA where, on a 50,000 watt station his opponent said, without blinking an eye, something to the exact effect of “Dr. White I don’t mean to hurt your feelings but you should be killed.” This shocked Dr. White — but it shouldn’t have.
Not all of those who desire us dead look like or act like the Phelps clan. Many, even if they are also hyper-Calvinist, know enough to be more subtle in public, that does not mean that their views are not just as extreme.
Given an opportunity, any opening where they could ram it through (Spain continuing a 1931 style Austrian collapse for example and leading to a world wide depression — or anything worse than what has happened to Greece), I can easily see gays emerging as the scapegoat, targeted for death. Oh, most people wouldn’t agree with it, most people didn’t agree with the Nazi’s exterminations; but in order to survive they’d go along with it.
Kind thoughts,
Hermes
They only reason radical Christians don’t go around killing people is because society now frowns on it and has made it illegal. But for most of history, Christianity has exterminated anyone and any group that disagreed with them. If legally allowed, that’s exactly what they would do again.
