I predicted this morning that wingnuts would just lose their minds over the fact that Oreo posted a gay pride cookie on their Facebook page. As you can imagine, there are unfortunately human beings in this country who actually are having a worse day because a cookie was mean to them, and they are not embarrassed to say it on the internet. Buzzfeed has a hilarious round-up of anti-gay bigots screaming at a cookie for being too gay. This is a very valuable use of their time and their grey matter, you see. I will only eat black and white Oreos. Single stuffed. All of the other variations are unnatural variations. If god had wanted double-stuffed, chocolate-filled, or rainbow Oreos she would have made them that way. Sorry, but sometimes you just have to take a stand for what is right and natural. A friend of mine once told me that the filling was just sugar and Crisco. I responded, “So what’s your point?” Give my my god-given Oreos.
