Hey, crazy, what’s shakin’?
Two things for slow readers like Bryan:
1. Pedophilia won’t be legalized because the child can’t consent. We have very serious laws regarding this, and also common sense.
2. You’re worried about people having sex with animals? Really? Isn’t that already somewhat legal in Florida anyway? No, seriously, if you missed this story:
After years of sex with animals being technically legal in Florida, the legislature finally passed an anti-bestiality law last year. Eric Antunes looked like he’d be one of the first people prosecuted under the new law when police discovered pictures of him engaged in sex acts with his girlfriend’s three-legged dog on his cell phone. Turns out he won’t face beastiality charges, though, since the law does not actually forbid oral sex with animals.
Florida, ladies and gentlemen!
Marriage equality legal in Florida? No.
Third base with a handicapped dog? Perfectly fine.
Where’s this slippery slope I keep hearing about?

This same fear appeared in my local newspaper and so I ended up writing two letters to the editor in response to two letters by one reader that sounded like they were written by an anti-gay group:
Thomas Kraemer, “Letter: Same-sex marriage support isn’t support of polygamy, bestiality,” Gazete-Times, posted Monday, June 4, 2012
Thomas Kraemer, “The ‘slippery slope’ argument against gay marriage is specious,” Gazette-Times, posted June 21, 2012
There was no such court case in Canada where pedophiles argued they had a legal right to sex with children. Brian’s just making up stuff as he goes.
Fischer is the most common example of the species idiota común.
Marriage equality as has been amply demonstrated in 7 states thus far, has not lead to bestiality, polygamy, or any of the events used as scare tactics by idiota común like Fischer, NOM, AFA, FRC, et al.
Of course I knew a long time ago that once the bestiality and polygamy tactics had been exhausted they’d turn to children. The absolute horror that a child, grandchild, niece, nephew etc. finding out that LGBT people are just part of the spectrum of human reality shakes bigots to the core.
Bestiality is actually legal in more states than same-sex marriage. What’s more, it tends to be legal in states that have stringent bans on same-sex marriage. Apparently people don’t have as much of a problem with people banging their animals as they do with consenting, loving adults marrying one another.
So much for his claim that he doesn’t hate LGBT people.
This is a great example of why in some cases homophobia should be considered a mental illness.
Good letters, Thomas.
I don’t get it. Was the man giving the dog a BJ? What the hell? That could not arouse anybody, what the hell?
I can’t imagine it could be the other way around because the dog could bite him, inadvertently.
Dear lord, SG! Why couldn’t my straight grandmother have been like you?!
I worry about Mrs. Fischer’s safety.
Why do wingnuts have such enormous difficulty understanding the concept of mutual consent? Is it willful stupidity, or are they just douchebags?
Hard to believe Fischer has a Stanford degree in philospohy. the man is, well..insane.
What kind of moral compass is that cannot discern consent from no consent?
The law is derived from rational consideration of human nature not from the Bible.
Standard tactic: When you don’t have anything of any noteworthiness to say, make up s**t. And the sky will fall any day now.
Fischer is worried about bestiality because he’s afraid a human will try to have sex with him. (My apologies to animals).
How many of you also think that Fischer has a “Heterosexual-Safety Bunker” under his house in case of the Homosexual Revolution/Apocalypse? I’m sure it’s covered with pictures of “Manly Heterosexual Men” (undoubtedly in states of undress, especially if he’s been borrowing Porno Pete’s photos) in hopes that it will scare off the terrifyingly fabulous hordes. I’m not sure this is more funny than it is sad. However, when we begin the revolution of gayness, we can just cut his internet. When he can’t whine about the homosexual menace on the internet, he’ll come out of the bunker.
“What kind of moral compass is that cannot discern consent from no consent?”
The kind that’s used to demanding submission, obedience and blind faith.
