These nutjobs are getting more and more batsh*t every day it seems and more blatant with their batsh*ttery. And as they do, more and more normal people are hearing about them and their off-the-rails rants (thanks in part to you guys). This is one of the main reasons the number of allies is steadily rising for the side of equality I believe. Decent, moral folks will always step in when they see someone being needlessly bullied.

I notice that, too. I think the reason is that they know they are failing, so they believe they must try harder. And since they have no legitimate arguments, their only option for trying harder is to be louder while inventing increasingly preposterous screaming-points. Outside of acknowledging their failure, they really have no other choice.
Being black, this dork should remember what the whites said about integrating blacks and whites in the military many years ago: It will destroy morale!
I was in the army shortly after President Truman gave the order to integrate and the morale was just fine, just as it is with LGBTs in the military now.

Can’t disagree too much–except that there are legitimate arguments and they do have other choices. TWO is like elements of the Civil Rights Movement seeking out foes such as Bull Connor. Of course after the defeat of Bull Connor and Jim Crow–the nation walked into an incapacity to live out the Beloved Community MLK articulated.
Strategies chosen, such as TWO’s strategic attempt to define all opposition as “Harry Jackson’s” does have consequences.
But I do agree that the Harry Jackson crowd could have taken a different path over the last 50 years; that would have made evangelicalism something very different; and still would have fundamental disagreements regarding homosexuality; but it would look and feel more like its stance against divorce (i.e. fully accomodating).
Idiot. The rainbow is a natural phenomenon. No one owns a natural phenomenon. These people are getting craxier and craxier as we gain more and more rights.
