But I’m posting it anyway, because, well:
Something new and different for us: people who claim to be “pro-family” conservative Christians, only working to preserve the sanctity of the Biblical texts and edicts that they claim to live by, yet finding a way to live that out by hurting all the people their purported savior commanded them to love.
Yeah, it’s the same.

It’s nice to see the Christian left speaking out for a change, they should do it much more often. The phonies on the right are giving all of us a bad name.
Great one, Evan.

Ryan’s awful record on lgbt rights. But, Log Cabin adores him.

One thing that Roman Catholic sisters and bishops agree on – the Ryan budget is immoral.
Today Obama won the election. From now until election day there will be two themes:
1) Romney’s taxes and offshore accounts
2) Ryan’s draconian budget that ends Medicare
It’s a good day for Obama. This was the single dumbest choice Romney could have made.
One can only hope, Wayne.
Personally, I hope Obama keeps run nnig the clip where Smarmy Mittens says “Corporations are people, my friend.” with that s**t eating grin on his face.
Yeah, and his “I like firing people.” :)
Wayne: I hope that you are right. However, I am very concerned about voter suppression. I have been disenfranchised in Florida and a considerable effort (time and money) is required for me to vote in November.
Right now GOP operatives are engaged in a massive caging operation. I fear that millions of eligible voters are going to be turned away from the polls.
BTW, Tony F. Perkins is delighted with Ryan: http://bit.ly/OaUjcb
David:
I’m worried about voter suppression too. Very worried.
His Bible is Atlas Shrugged.
Sarah Palin, Bachmann or Newt Santorum would have been worse choices for Romney I’m afraid. The republicanists will be literally shoveling their unlimited money into this race and the moneygrubbers & TParty will like Ryan.
Paul, the moneygrubbers and tea baggers would have been voting for Romney anyway, this gains him no new voters but it does lose him a lot of voters among senior citizens, the poor, middleclass and students.
Number of supporters isn’t the only factor Priya. Motivation levels of supporters on both sides are as important, if not more so. Though I suspect that Ryan also cost Romney in that area, it remains too soon to be sure.
Rainbow, there’s a broad concensus including large numbers of Republicans that Ryan is going to hurt Romney. Obama could lose the election due to unforseen future circumstances but its about as sure a thing as it gets that Ryan is going to cost Romney.
