For those who don’t know, Truth Wins Out was attacked today by a number of anti-gay organizations with the goal of blacklisting me from FOX News, particularly the Bill O’Reilly Show. The most comical part of their efforts was that they were claiming I demonized their organizations, yet asked for supporters to contact them at WackyWayne666@hotmail.com. You know, 666, the number of the beast. The Devil.
About an hour ago I pointed out the stunning hypocrisy and before one could say “hate group” the e-mail address had been replaced in their Christian Newswire release. Fortunately, I had already screen captured it.
Whoops, too late. Here are the before and after pictures of the press release. Notice how the e-mail address had been changed.

Wayne – you can take a screen shot on a mac by using either Shift-Command-3 (to take an instant shot of the whole screen) or Shift-Command-4 (to create a crosshairs to select a specific section of the screen to capture). Just FYI in case you didn’t know.
In the past, I had read the web sites of PFOX and Mr. “DL” Foster (both radical anti-gay protestants), and they had refered to Mr. Wayne Besen as “Wacko” or “Wacky” Besen. That is true. The extreme right wing uses to insult their oponents with nicknames and ridiculing them. And now, they add the number 666, to demonize Besen. WHO IS DEMONIZING and SLANDERING WHO???
I’m suprised you’ve even been allowed on Fox! And a little impressed that they’d do it!
Keep up the good work – though I continue to question the wisdom of progressives appearing on Fox. Wouldn’t it be better just to ignore them? Let them talk to each other, you’re not going to convince anybody who tunes in to that garbage. They’ve already drunk every drop of Kool-Aid and they’re back for more.
I totally disagree with you Derek. That’s what Fox news needs the most, is someone from our side telling the truth. Its simply not true that there is no one on that side that can’t be reached.
