I love the food at that chicken place very much. So I have a question would it be wrong to eat there knowing that my five dollars is supporting Dan Cathy? Email me at farrelledward2@gmail.com because I would love to hear from those who are in the fight. I live in Florida and Chick Phil A has tons of places here restaurants and drive throughs. Everybody in my family loves the food and none of them are fundamentalists. But what concerns me is that if Chick Phil A budges at all, they may face the fundamentalists who will bully them into going along by saying, no stand, no donations which is really going to hurt them. Also, they will call for a boycott of the food chain. I would like to hear from others who have comments about this as well as other comments I have made on these articles on this site.

You’re right raziel, the anti-gay extremists are mad because mainstream America isn’t buying their crap, and thus, behave like children. FRC got itself targeted due to their extremist beliefs. The only army of fanatics who are hurting their cause are the bigots themselves.

Melinda–Chick-fil-a an anti-christ? I guess I’d never thought of that. But, it certainly isn’t Christlike to donate money to organizations that seek to persecute and even kill GLBT people.

The only problem with your analysis is the company never staked out the territory either extreme side asserts.

It will most likely not please either side–choosing to stay out of the fray–run a decent business that treats folk like human beings–and give lots of cows a reprieve. Same thing it’s always done.

And both sides will choose whether to count it a victory or to consider CFA an anti-Christ.

We don’t care about his personal beliefs Ed, it’s the big bucks he gave/gives to groups who actively persecute, and in Africa kill, lgbt people. And the gay *worm*?!, what a total piece of $hit Lively is. Referring to a group of people as worms is usually the first step in ‘cleansing’ them from society.
