Nowadays, whenever I hear someone talk about their values, it almost always sounds like bigotry. The word "values" has become a euphemism for bigotry.

Charz: That could be a long way off. The Supreme Court is almost controlled by the conservatives and Democratic control of the House of Reps is problematic right now. The republicons may lose the White House this year but Congress may be a different thing. They’ve got jillion$ they are spending to take over.

Once the Supreme Court or a Democrat-controlled House and Senate get rid of DOMA and legalize gay marriage nationwide, none of this will matter.

First of all, the name of this event is a misnomer. Homophobia is never a “value.” It is only a sin and a perversion of Jesus’ message of inclusion and love. Secondly, Jesus never told us to drive a wedge between people in order to make more money for someone, which is really the only true goal of the angry pro-homophobia lobby.
