Last night, Truth Wins Out revealed in an exclusive report that the school board of Minnesota’s Anoka-Hennepin School District, notorious for an epidemic of anti-LGBT bullying and a rash of teen suicides, appointed Bryan Lindquist — a spokesman for an SPLC-certified anti-gay hate group — to the district’s new Anti-Bullying/Anti-Harassment Task Force.
We also noted that several prominent LGBT advocates and straight allies from the community had applied to serve on the task force, but were rejected. They included Tammy Aaberg, a local mom who became an advocate for LGBT rights and safe, LGBT-inclusive schools after her son Justin committed suicide in 2010 due to relentless anti-gay bullying.
Tammy has given TWO permission to publish the letter sent to her and the other rejected applicants by school board chair Tom Heidemann. Her address and the names of the task force’s student members have been redacted; hate group spokesman Bryan Lindquist’s name is listed on the second page, as one of the Anti-Bullying/Anti-Harassment Task Force’s community members.

Fail to see how these folks represent the list of diversity they list as their reason for rejection. Pathetically transparent agenda.
Why is a school district considering “Religion” as a criteria for evaluating applicants? Sue ‘em.
I don’t suppose the state could just dissolve the entire school district.
Since I was bored decided to do a Yahoo search on the community members names. Lot don’t have much out there. Beth Hentges had a special needs child in Anoka-Hennepin school district that was being bullied by staff and she sued them. Michael Chmiel looks like he was a juvilline judge in IL and sentenced some girls for anti-gay stuff. The only red flag to me is Tim Hale who on his Facebook has likes of two churches that look right wing.
Great. A bunch of haters on an anti-bullying board. Nice how they made sure there was virtually NO LGBT representation. What a sad farce. I feel sorry for any LGBT kids in that district.

As a point of clarification, I have never claimed any Anoka-Hennepin staff members bullied my son, nor have I sued the school district.
