(Clownish AFA Says Ronald is Too Gay)
Well, thank God we can finally eat McNuggets in peace without the yahoos at the American Family Association annoying us at the next table. The AFA will announce a boycott today because they claim the company supports the so-called “gay agenda” and has taken sides in the “culture wars.”
“It is about McDonald’s, as a corporation, refusing to remain neutral in the culture wars,” whined the oft-offended AFA. “McDonald’s has chosen not to remain neutral but to give the full weight of their corporation to promoting the homosexual agenda, including homosexual marriage.”
The AFA - the Tupelo, Mississippi-based group that once claimed Mighty Mouse snorted cocaine - has once again gone mad. What next, they will claim that Grimace is secretly gay because he is the same lavender shade as the Teletubby Tinky Winky?
McDonalds is not promoting a “gay agenda.” They are simply supporting equality for all people in the workplace. This boycott will fail, just as AFA’s Disney Boycott fell flat. The group is all hat and no cattle and has emerged as one of the most dishonest groups on the far right fringe. They even sell a video, “It’s Not Gay” featuring failed ex-gay Michael Johnston - without a disclaimer telling AFA members that Johnston has participated in gay orgies, while claiming to have “changed.” Now, how moral is that?
I’m going to do my part this morning. I will put my yogurt back in the refrigerator, march down to McDonald’s, and buy a delicious Egg McMuffin. Yum!
Please call McDonald’s today and thank them for being a fair-minded company and let them know you would rather eat without the angry, puritanical AFA crowd.

This boycott will last until their kids start screaming for their Happy Meals. This is just a ridiculous tactic for the AFA to try and wrangle themselves some news coverage.

Christians have every right not to spend their money at businesses which oppose Christian values.
In 1st Corinthians Paul exhorts Christians to do this very thing.

Ignorance and hatred are not Christian values and you fake christians dont seem to have any problem with McDonald’s destruction of the rain forrests to supply a very unhealthy and eco-unfriendly food source; not to mention all the suffering and abuse that the helpless cattle have to endure. PHONEYS one and all!!

“Christians have every right not to spend their money at businesses which oppose Christian values.”
Nobody’s forcing you to spend your money at MacDonalds. I oppose “christian” (charlatan) values, and MacDonald’s is one of the last fast food places I’d go to.
With all of the people crowding up Micky D’s every single day, from tourists to locals, it won’t make an impact at all. I don’t know where you live, but there seems to be a damned MacDonald’s on every corner here. It’s almost sickening.
And “christians” aren’t supposed to be eating at MacDonald’s anyway; with the whole “destroying your temple” bullshit and all. Even though most of those “temples” I’ve seen “christians” walking around with looking more like run-down shacks.

All “christian values” means is NOT HAVING SEX, especially GAY SEX. When do these loving christians ever boycott wealthy corporations for cheating on their taxes, or stealing, or driving small businesses out, or exporting American jobs? Seems like all religion comes down to is controlling who is having sex and with whom. Let them have their silly boycotts, it will eventually reveal to everyone their true agenda, which is to impose their narrow, uptight sexual puritanism on those of us who are not interested.

Good points DavetheWave. I also noticed that Google doubled the price of day care, driving some parents to tears. One would think the American Family Association might get involved. But, since it has nothing to do with homosexuality, they really don’t give a damn.
They are so hung up on this issue that it borders on pathological.

Since when did homophobia become a “Christian Value?” Homophobia is a sin. We are told that we will know them by their “fruits.“ The fruits of homophobia are pride, ridicule, lies, reviling, prejudice, discrimination, unjust laws, hatred, bigotry, firing people from jobs, attacks, bullying, violence, suicide, destroyed lives, murder of gay people and utter disregard for Christ‘s commandment to treat others as we want to be treated. [”A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.” (Matthew 7:18)]

“whined the oft-offended AFA.” LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gays are so much more oft-offended and whiny! T.W.O. should be the ones being described as oft-offended and whiny as their entire purpose to exist is to be offended and whine about it. Groups like T.W.O. and the rest shut up and go away forever as their selfish agenda serves to make homosexuals look stupid and uninformed.

“Groups like T.W.O. and the rest shut up and go away forever”
Next time you may want to use the fact that God backs you up on that statement (for credibility’s sake), as per in Leviticus 20:13:

Quality of life on earth would improve greatly if RELIGION and all its uneducated, dark age backers would shut up and go away forever.

I disagree that all religion (or all of Christianity) is a bad thing.
Neither religion in general, nor Christianity in particular, are inherently uneducated, anti-science, and idolatrous toward brutal authority.
Unfortunately, millions of self-righteous and self-enriching egotists have taken over large sects within Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and exploited religion to excuse their own “sins” while judging others.

Thanks for the information about Mcdonald’s supporting gay and homosexual events. I will now join the boycott against McDonalds. They will not get my hard earned money to promote a lifestyle that if allowed to continue will kill our great society.
