That’ll be interesting to see Family Guy’s take on the “ex-gays”. I used to be a big fan of the show, but here lately, the episodes have been getting pretty stupid. Either McFarlane is running out of ideas, or he’s spending all his creative energy on American Dad.

In regards to the comment about no real in-depth research on the misinformation, pseudoscience, and lies put out by so called ex-gay therapists and their orgainizations, I plan to do just that. I am finishing my Doctorate (graduate in December) in Political Science, and FIRST on my research agenda is exactly that: reesearching ex-gay lies, individuals, and organizations!

Scott, you are right with your criticism of Black et al for comparing gay activists to nazi’s and likening themselves to Jewish Holocaust victims. Outrageous. Btw, an upcoming episode of “Family Guy” will portray ex-gay camps. FG creator Seth MacFarlane is an ardent liberal who fully supports LGBTQ rights.

Would it not be clear to ANYONE with the most minimal comprehension skills that if there were so many thousand ex-gays out there (as some claim) that the Ex-gay Watch site and Wayne Besen’s site would be beseiged in their comment sections every time they made the claim that non-professional ex-gays don’t exist? I visit these sites regularly and seldom ever see comments from people who claim to be ex-gay. Even on the seldom occassion that a person comments there claiming to be “ex-gay”, it never fails that their writing style and meter is suspiciously similar to those of Throckmorton, LaBarbara, Cohen or one of the other deeply invested executives in the “ex-gay” industry.

I’m so tired of these delussional cry babies.
