Republican presidential contender Newt Gingrich on Saturday said the adoption of same-sex marriage in New York showed the nation is “drifting toward a terrible muddle.”
Saying he thinks marriage is between a man and a woman, he told reporters that he “would like to find ways to defend that view as legitimately and effectively as possible.”
He defends that view by finding a new woman to marry every time the current ball and chain ends up going into the hospital for life-threatening rather than plastic surgery purposes.

How many marriages does he think the same Bible he bases his bias on does he think he should be permitted before the “MUDDLE” wife is considered an adulterer or he for that matter?
Fascinating how the wingnuts always have one set of rules for themselves and another for the entire rest of the population.
Note the tacit admission that it’s really, really challenging to craft a *legitimate* defense of marriage discrimination.

Funny, it’s only a few days after marriage equality passed in NY and already, social conservatives are using it to divide people. Sick.
