TWO’s Communications and Development Director John Becker has departed the organization. Originally from Green Bay and Milwaukee, WI, he joined us two years ago.
We thank him for his service to the LGBT community and wish him the best of luck with his future endeavors.
Wayne Besen is the Founding Executive Director of Truth Wins Out and author of “Anything But Straight: Unmasking the Scandals and Lies Behind the Ex-Gay Myth” (Haworth, 2003). In 2010, Besen was awarded the “Visionary Award” at the Out Music Awards for organizing the American Prayer Hour, an event which shined a spotlight on the role American evangelicals played in the introduction of Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Bill.
I’m sorry to see John go. He has made a very valuable contribution to this site. I have enjoyed reading his postings. I wish him well in whatever he does in the future.
John, good luck and thanks for all your hard work, I will miss your articles.
