‘Crackpot Kim’ Scandal Mushrooms As Bizarre and Bigoted Views Are Revealed

Kimberly Daniels (aka “Crackpot Kim”) is running for City Council in Jacksonville Florida. She gives gay people exorcisms and actually believes that demons infest Halloween candy. However, it is her recently revealed bigoted views that have gotten her into hot water. Consider these extremist quotes:

“You can talk about the Holocaust, but the Jews own everything.”

“I thank God for slavery. If it wasn’t for slavery, I might be somewhere in Africa worshiping a tree.”

Star researcher Bruce Wilson, who found these latest gems, has compiled a more comprehensive list of Crackpot Kim quotes.

Kimberly Daniels, who fancies herself a “demon-buster,” should immediately quit her race for the good of Jacksonville. If she actually wins, this city will be the laughingstock of the nation.

Fortunately, the media in Jacksonville is finally paying attention. The video above comes from First Coast News (ABC/NBC affiliates). Jacksonville’s NPR affiliate and the Florida Times Union also covered the story. The following video appeared on Action News the day before.

Is it possible to force her to cancel her bid for city council? She is obviously a loose cannon with scary bigoted feelings and there are so very many gays and jews living in and around Jacksonville. I hope to see her stopped. She should not hold any public office, city council or otherwise. Sounds to me like she should be back where she came from, on the streets hooking!

I used to have respect for you, Wayne but I’m not so sure anymore. Nothing Mrs. Daniels has ever said or done is anti-semitic. You take one line out of all her sermons, and try to twist it into something it’s not. The whole point of her sermon was that the bad things people go through can be used by God to lead to a better future.

I know you see that, and know she’s not anti-semitic, so it seems to me that was you really have a problem with is that she’s an Evangelical Christian and a woman of God who doesn’t agree with your views on gay rights. Neither of those things disqualify her from public office, and you should stop trying to muzzle her.

If you cannot see the anti semitism in that, you are…well…stupid. Sorry, not being mean, but, stupid. Hell, the insane woman (just an accurate description, not an insult) herself had to backpeddle (doing a bad job of it) to try to get back from THAT one!

Oh, and by the way, her opinion on gay rights alone makes her immoral. A Klansman has every right to run for office, but, decent and moral people have every right and reasonsibility to point out that such beliefs make one morally unfit to lead in any capacity.

And the fact that she’s anti-gay makes me think she’s a bigot–people used the Bible to excuse their racist beliefs as well so the fact that God made her a bigot doesn’t cut it with me.

Kim Daniels has no class! I have seen her in action and she tries to brainwash people. She is greedy and speaks badly about other religions, ministers, and races. People who are following her …as I observed…were weak in character and seemed depressed. This woman is asking them for money and having them worship her. They fail to realized that they are not following the lord, but giving power to Ms. Daniels who is abusing the poor people who attend her sermons.
