TWO Wishes New Arcus Foundation Executive Director Much Success

Truth Wins Out rolled out the welcome mat today and offered its support for The Arcus Foundation’s new Executive Director Kevin Jennings. Jennings is a legendary activist who founded the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). More recently, he served as a presidential appointee in the Obama administration, coming under fire from the extreme right.

“Kevin has been a tremendous success no matter where he has served and brings enormous talent to one of the LGBT community’s most important foundations,” said Truth Wins Out’s Executive Director Wayne Besen. “We look forward to working with Kevin and watching his his long list of accomplishments continue to grow.”

The Arcus Foundation is a key funder for Truth Wins Out, providing a $40,000 grant in 2012.

I look forward to the day when Truth Wins Out is part of our archive of historical records, documenting an the era of the fight for Civil Rights for Sexual Minorities.

I look forward to the day when Wayne and Evan and John go on to a second career as writers of travel blogs.
