Many media outlets, short on staff, cut and paste directly from press releases. Writing in third person format makes it easier for them to do so. When I write in the third person it serves that specific function.

What those attacking Jennings really mean is that they don’t want to see an end to the bullying of GLBT students. But they daren’t come out and say that in so many words, so they call efforts to prevent such bullying “promoting homosexuality”. Deceitful and despicable claptrap.

And the same kind of smear campaign is happening to Chai Feldblum. It seems the epicenter is that raving hate-fuelled lunatic Peter Labarbera, who regards anyone who dares to be openly gay as being a ‘militant activist’ (of course he would, as his aim is to recriminalize being gay).
