  1. Saw you last night. You did a good job, Wayne. Very clear and direct.

  2. The Ex Gay Industry is pure malice – snake oil dressed up as love. Their mantra “love the sinner hate the sin” promises nothing more than conditional, paternalistic, fake love. Even Exodus’s founders have fulsomely apologised for all the damage they caused:

    Then there’s this terrible tragedy:
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2000529/Family-blame-UCLA-sissy-boy-therapy-anti-gay-professor-sons-suicide.html

The deal they offer goes like this:
Choose to either live your whole life without the one you love, or spend all of it with someone you don’t, hurting them ad yourself in the process.

As a reward for the this life of either abject loneliness or utter misery, you are rewarded by Eternity in the company of, guess who, this bunch of homophobic, religious zealots? If that’s what the heaven they’re selling is like, then no thanks, I’ll follow the plan of the homosexual Irish playwright Oscar Wilde who said, “I don’t want to go to Heaven, none of my friends are there.”.

Here’s another thing. Why do so many anti-gay rights leaders keep getting caught being gay?

  3. We’ve seen Romney’s tax returns. But since he was born in Mexico to missioary parents I want now to see his birth certificate. Someone call Donald Trump.

  4. Of course, Romney doesn’t return her calls. As a matter of fact, those running for office who oppose gay equality, tend to hate being asked hard questions and they’d rather not have to deal with it. Look at Bachman’s behavior when she feels she’s in no bullshit arena.
She gets all defensive like she’s being wrongfully bullied.
The others just use bumper sticker slogans and don’t want to elaborate.

Or they’ll just use a token gay as a sign they are gay friendly, but will support anti gay policies.
Mitt Romney’s gay campaign manager and Christie’s appointment of a gay NJ Supreme court justice are but a few of such cynical ploys to gain confidence from gay voters.

Sure, they think of you as politically necessary when they want a higher office. But when it comes to issues of QUALITY OF LIFE for gay citizens, they call for a popular vote on gay lives.

That’s about the worst kind of betrayal. So two faced.

  6. Wayne, keep up the good work. No surprise that mitt supports these misguided charities. Best, Steve.

  7. As a Massachusetts resident, I can honestly say your appraisal of Romney is spot on. He’s a brazen opportunist, and will say or do just about anything to get elected.

  8. I was channel surfing last night when I caught Wayne on Maddow. I see you’re wearing glasses now Wayne. Welcome to the (middle aged) club. :O

  9. How sad that making money by fraud is illegal, EXCEPT when it is hidden behind religion.

Wayne, thanks to you and your staff at TWO, the scheming fraudsters are being exposed at every turn. Right now they are running out of places to hide.

    Keep up the great work!

    Jerry

  10. Dear Wayne and Rachel;
Since I have been a Lesbian (absolutely recalling feelings for my Kindergarten teacher) all of my life AND being sexualy molested by a great-uncle as a young child, I really do not agree with the idea of “going straight” at any time in my life.Just having celebrated my 77th birthday I think it is testimony that true Lesbianism is not something that can be “cured”!!! Yes, I dated men during and after my high school years but did not feel satisfied in any way by male heterosexual attention. If there would be a way to change my orientation . . . IT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED BY NOW! Nuf said

  11. I am in PR and media relations, so here’s my free input on your appearance.

The overall appearance was effective. You are a clear, well-spoken advocate. However, your appearance could have been improved as follows:

    - No green shirts or similar brightly colored shirts or jackets on TV. Black suit or jacket and white shirt. Non-flashy blue might be acceptable.

    - No shiny or distracting ties. Simple color, no pattern is better

    - You must get a different set of glasses for TV. The shape of those lenses does not complement your face and there is an odd black shadow or protrusion where the lens meets the handles.

    - You have wonderful hair, but it is styled here in a way that makes it look like a toupee. This in turn subtly and needlessly undermines a trustworthy appearance.

These may seem superficial, but they matter. Remember the 1960 Nixon-JFK debates. Be more JFK and less RMN.

Anyway, on substance it was A+.

  13. What’s the difference between mittromney and a statue of mitt Romney?

The statue can’t change its position
